What Causes The Right Side Of The Nose Bigger When Compared To The Left?

Dear Doctor, I m 16 years old ,weigh about 126 pounds, and am about 5 -5 1. I ve always had a concern for my nose that s one of the reason s why i don t take of my glasses. I ve been researching and i ve gotten to the conclusion that i need septoplasty due to the fact that my nose shifts to the right, making my right side of my nose look bigger then the left. Do you think its due to the fact that my birth wasn t normal birth, but it was cesarean birth?Or maybe due to the fact that i wear glasses? How much would it cost me?Can my healthplan cover the costs? And am i age appropriate?

Hello,

I have gone through your query. It may be due to deviated nasal septum.

For that you may require surgical intervention after ENT surgeon consultation.

Mean while you can apply nasal saline drops locally.

Avoid hot and humid environment.

Use humidifier. Do regular blood pressure monitoring.
