What Causes The Split Of Left Tonsil From The Main Tonsil?

hi i have suffered tonsilliters all my life im 25 and todayi noticed that a large part of my left tonsil have split away fromthe main toncil. when it first happened it was stinging and now it has a large see through white film over the split where it broke off. what is this?

Hello,

Don't worry it may be tonsilitis with tonsilar membrane over it. It may not split that easily. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet Amoxicillin and Clavulinic acid 625 mg for five days after food. If your allergic to above medication don't take. Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
