What Causes The Sternum More Painful With Diarrhea And Nausea?
Hi. I have a cramping, distended upper abdomen and I noticed that my sternum is very painful to touch and feels larger as I ve never noticed the shape of it before. I ve had 4 days of diarrhoea and some nausea but no sickness. Any possible causes? Is it something I should bother a GP with?

The acute sternal pain in association with diarrhea indicate gastritis due to GI infection with reflux of stomach acid.
Proper care with diet, PPI as omeprazole, GI-specific antibiotics and probiotics will help greatly to cover up the issue.
Should avoid panic for such instance for best recovery.
