What Causes The Taste Buds To Swell?
My taste buds are swollwen large bumps back tounge going down throat feels like something stucck back there, has been almost 2 weeks now how long and is this going to last what can I do it freaks me out weird feeling- my dentist said it can be normal but I haven t had this before and i don tlike it at all - what can I do help please - this doesn t help my anxiety

Hypertrophy of taste buds can be due to gastroesophageal reflux. They are not dangerous. Complications are unknown.
You would benefit from taking pantoprazol 40mg once daily for 2 weeks before food. It would reduce the acid reflux and slowly relieve the swelling. Please take gaviscon syrup twice daily for 5 days
