What Causes The Tendency To Loose Control Of Mouth When Dissociated?
Hi Doctor,
I have realised I have had issues with dissociation/depersonalisation for most of my life but am only putting the pieces together now. I am 40 years of age.
One thing I cannot really get my head around is freezing or loosing power to limbs. I think this is connected but can that be?
For example I was standing with a group of friends about 5 years ago (I was distressed at the time) and the next thing I knew I was hitting the floor. I dislocated my coccyx as a result. As I have found myself in a happier frame of mind these incidents have just about ceased. I do have a tendency to freeze or loose control of my mouth when dissociated. What are your thoughts?
