I am 9 weeks pregnant at a routine scan the ultrasound showed placenta was thick and bulky but baby measured correctly, I have previously had a partial molar pregnancy 5 months ago. Can you shed some light on what might be going on? And if I will lose baby?
hi thanks for writing to us thick placenta can be due to many reasons from diabetes...to many other clinical conditions since there is a previous history of partial molar pregnancy ,whether the thickness of placenta is homogenous or hetrogenous gives more light on the condition beta hcg will throw more light on the condition hope this information was useful
