What Causes Thick Brown Mucus, Cramps And Bloating?
I went off of the pill (after 19 years) at the end of august. i have not had a period yet. I also made the change to a vegan diet at the same time. last night i had very thick brown mucous that had tissue like stuff in it with some cramping and bloating. today nothing, no pain no blood no mucous. what was that?

I think that these effects may be due to long term effects of pill use and may also be due to hormonal irregularities which have occurred. I will suggest you to have a thyroid profile test and prolactin test done , and also take a antibiotics course as brown discharge with mucus can also be due to infection.
