What Causes Thick Dark Itchy Line Under The Navel?
i have this dark brown bumpy and sometimes itchy line going down under my belly button. i first noticed it a couple years back and it went away over time then came back and i feel like now it s worse. and i also shave my hairs in that same position so can it be from that? what can i do to make it disappear for good???
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the chances of fungal infection is very likely, I could say as per the history and description given here. If I would be doctor of this case then I would try to treat this case with Miconazole ointment with Beclomethasone for local application, oral anti-fungal can be tried like Terbibafine but the lesion should have been confirmed clinically because skin lesion always demands the clinical observation, that could change the diagnosis, so it is better to try the local preparation only. hope this information helps.
