hello everybody, I'm 23 and lately I discovered a tiny shrinkeage at the level of my left testicule, this is accompained with mild sense of pain when i sit for a long time, at the top of my left testicule i noticed also a kind of a thick tissue and i think that i'm afflicted by varecocele.Doc please help, I'm alarmed as hell, I can't get no sleep since i descovered that,knowing that I can't afford the surgery kills me. I'm not married and I even disregarded the ideas if this would affect my fertility...Please Doc what should I do? Thanks beforehand.
Hello Thanks for query. Based on your statement I would say that you have infection of Epididymis (Epididymitis) .
The shrinkage that you think of is pulling up of testicles by contraction of Dartus muscle of the scrotum in response to pain
Please consult qualified General surgeon or Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests dne to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Urine Routine examination 2) Ultrasound Scanning of Scrotum 3) Colour Doppler study of Scrotum.
You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute
