What Causes Thick Yellow Discharge From Eyes?

My daughter has a thick yellowish discharge lately on her eyes. Her eyes are not red but it`s been 3 days that i`ve noticed about the discharge. What is it? Is there anything to worry about? If yes. What are the proper medications for her. She is 1 year old and is a G6PD positive..

with nature of discharge it can be bacterial conjunctivitis. ofloxacin.3%eye drop may be applied6 hourly. clean the discharge with sterile swab. apply neosporine eye ointment at bedtime.
