What Causes Thick Yellow Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?

When i have a bowel movement i notice from my vagina theres a thick yellow discharge maybe its really clear because i also had to urinate...idk. Im currently 37 weeks n 6 days tomorrow i will be 38. Im asking what is that? And no havent been having any sexual intercourse. And even of i did i usually do not spot, cramp or have any discharge. And the last time i was checked i dialated 2cm maybe 2 weeks ago and this bowel movement, vaginal discharge thing been happening for about a month and a half and my due date is may 16, please tell me whats going on and also why does it hurt so bad in my pelvic area just switching from side to side while sleeping n even walking?

I understand your concern.
Thick yellow vaginal discharge in pregnancy --
- If associated with foul smell/ itching/burning in urine can be due to infection( bacterial or fungal)It needs treatment by gynecologist's advise
- As in your case the discharge is without nay other symptoms, it came out after a bowel movements..specially with cervix 2cm dilated.. it can be a mucus plug displaced & indicates that you will go in labor soon.
- Please check with your doctor ,
- maintain genital hygiene,/ have clear bowels.
- take nutritive /light & easy to digest food.
- observe baby movements,
- get admited when labor pains start & come periodically get admitted.
