What Causes Thickened Endometrium?
Now in 6 weeks. Last week had a hcg test done with pregnancy positive but low level of hcg for 5 weeks. Was asked to reat for a week and then check hcg again. But yesterday had spotting. Today did scan but not gestational sac just thickened endometrium.

no gestational sac inside uterus indicates that there may be a possibility of an ectopic pregnancy .however endometrium is thickened due to decidual reaction which is physiological in any case of pregnancy.
