What Causes Thickened Skin With Red Raised Bumps On The Fingers?

I have symptoms of schleroderma and am concerned. It started w/ my fingers that were getting areas of thickenned skin that itched mildly, then w/ waking up w/ stiff hands and muscle aches, then my palms turned reddish. Now little red, raised bumps are appearing on my fingers. What to do? Have derm appt next week. Start w/ PCP? or Derm? or get a rheumatologist? Please advise your opinion of signs.

It could be CALCINOSIS CUTIS, it is one of the most common manifestation of SCLERODERMA.
LASER or SURGICAL EXCISION is considered as the treatment of choice. In some cases oral HYPOCALCEMIC DRUGS can be needed.
