What Causes Thickened Uterine Lining With Fibroids?

I had a vaginal ultrasound as I do every year. Uterine lining jumped from 9 mm. To 15 mm. I have no bleeding or symptoms. I ve had two biopsies over the last 5-6 years and they were normal. I have a fibroid but don t know the size My gyn said she doesn t think I have cancer but I am Abington a hysteroscopy on Monday and am very anxious

Thick endometrial lining is present in endometrial hyperplasia, which is thickening of endometrium due to hormonal effect and is commonly associated with fibroids.
It is better to get a hysteroscopic guided biopsy done to confirm the diagnosis and get appropriate treatment timely, if required.
