What Causes Thigh Rashes And Lumps In The Knee Surgery Area?
Hello, I had knee surgery 8/22/14 Friday. I went to the doctors office 8-28-14, all is fine. But.... yesterday I developed a rash on my thigh and today it has spread throughout the leg and around the surgical wounds. Small red bumps, but many..What could this be?
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you developed a rash on your thigh and today it has spread throughout the leg and around the surgical wound following Knee surgery. It can be allergic reaction to some local drug used for dressing / dressing material such as dynaplast. Second possibility can be infection. in case of infection you should have fever. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care
