What Causes Thin, Red, Thread Like Things In Stool?
I just noticed today that I have thin, red, thread like things in my stool. I'm unsure of what this may be. I've had loose stool for a couple weeks. Im 31yrs, 5'6". Normally a healthy person. Please let me know if you have any ideas what it may be.
Could be blood from hemorrhoids in stool. Every person has hemorrhoids and sometimes they flare up, especially in the setting of constipation/hard stools or diarrhea. To help avoid aggravating them, drink plenty of fluids and increase fiber intake (vegetables and fruits). If it continues or worsens you can consider having a colonoscopy to evaluate.
