What Causes Throat Blockage After Eating With Tonsillectomy?
I had a tonsilectomy 4 weeks ago. I feel i have had something stuck in the back of my trout for 3 weeks now. I started to feel it after eating some chicken and feel it has never dislodged. Its really starting to annoy me and is affecting my speech. Can you help? x
Hello please meet your ent doctor as it is likely that the follicles ( normal lymph structures ) present at the back of your throat have increased in size following the tonsillectomy , ( this is quite common ) . He will examine you and confirm this , you may need another course of antibiotics and mouth gargles to reduce the swelling. Please meet your doctor
