Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
There are many causes for difficulty in swallowing, So you need to do the following tests:-
1- Complete physical examination.
2- Complete blood count.
3- Liver and kidney function tests, Electrolytes.
4- Chest X-ray.
5- Endocscopy.

Viral and bacterial infection, as well as any other causes such as abnormal masses, can be excluded by the above tests.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Take care.
