What Causes Throat Pain After Swallowing A Toothpick Accidently?
Day 5 that I swallowed a plastic toothpick. X-ray done on day 2 nothing detected. About an hour ago I tried eating and it feels like my bread got stuck on left side of throat I couldn t breathe so drank warm tea. Now my throat is hurting upon touch in the front and it feels as if I have mucus in my throat . Please help me

All the history is suggestive that you should consult an ENT Surgeon to conduct and endoscopy as plastic toothpicks are not seen on X-ray. If something is seen on Endoscopy, it will be removed, But the chances are the most that it will be edema for which treatment will be prescribed in the form of an Antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and supportive medicines.
