Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your query you have symptoms of throat pain and difficulty in swallowing which can occur probably due to throat infection that can be bacterial or viral in nature leading to severe Inflammation, which is causing swallowing difficulty.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like throat swab culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly. Doctor may also order CT scan in case he find it necessary. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics and along with it start taking anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen. Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine. Keep doing warm saline gargles, suck throat lozenges and chew Vitamin C pellet, drink plenty of warm water or avoid spicy and chilled foods. Eat soft food or liquid diet.

Hope your concern has been resolved. Get Well Soon.
