I have had GERD issues for many years and have been taking Prilosec with no issues. However, very recently I have started experiencing pain in my lower throat. It s not a burning pain, more like a feeling of being swollen or something stuck. What could this be?
You may develop pharyngitis or tonsillitis or thyroiditis or GERD or postnasal drip with adenoiditis etcetera. Avoid cool drinks and cold environment. Use saltwater gargling, use water vapor inhalation thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
