It hurts to swallow on the left side of my throat. Last week it hurt on the right side but both sides cleared up last weekend. There are no white spots on my tonsils, as far as I can see. They seem to hurt for a while and then clear up and then hurt again. I initially thought this could have been caused by wearing earplugs to sleep but I m not sure...can you help?
Ear plug do not cause such a complain. Throat c/o many not be always infection. You may be having vague neurologic pain.
General advise:
1. avoid spicy foods
2. keep taking seeps of water frequently
3. Warm saline gargles
4. Use simple medicine for pain if needed (consult your physician for Prescription) or come to the online consultation if you wish.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
