The left side of my throat hurts when I swallow as if my esophagus is bruised. I was messing around with a friend 2 weeks ago and he had his hand around my neck. It almost feels like its by my lymph node and will not go away. I do take blood thinners so i bruise more easily than others
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of throat pain while swallowing could be due to upper respiratory tract infection. It could be due to gastroesopahgeal reflux as well. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take tablet Sinarest at for three days. For relief of throat pain take Calpol. Do warm saline gargles. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy foods. Take luke warm water with turmeric dissolved in it. Your symptoms will start resolving, if symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Start proper antibiotic course after thorough examination. Go for fibroptic scan if your symptoms are not resolving at all to find out exact cause and then start treatment. Avoid cold carbonated beverages.
