Hi I have had this problem for it seems 15 years or so now. I am 25 and male. When I swallow it seems as though my throat pops, like something is popping in and out of place. Also if I slightly push on the outside of my throat it will seem like something is popping in and out. It hasn't caused me much trouble other than discomfort, but every time I go see a doctor about it they tell me everything is normal. I'm just looking for ideas as to what may be causing this.
in my opinion this history suggest some polypoid lesion is there in throat which moves up amd down. or it may be Zenker's diverticulum. final diagnosis depends on endoscopic examination. so you must need to visit ENt specialist nearby. if examination comes normal , then you need not to worry, just reduce your weight, if you are obese.
