What Causes Throbbing Pain After Removal Of The Uterus, Ovary And Fallopian Tubes?
Can endometriosis be spread to the muscle wall during surgery. My daughter had surgery May 20th and had her uterus, right ovary and tubes removed. The surgeon also removed endometriosis and touch on a nerve [that is giving her a burning sensation, which the surgeon said could last a year or more.] She now has a deep throbbing pain that is constant. The surgeon wants to give her a shot to put her into a full menopause state. Will that take away the pain she has or will it just add another problem for her
Endometriosis causes pain because of adhesions between peritoneum , viscera to each other. Also by releasing some substances which cause pain so after menopause this endometriotic deposits regress and thusvsymptoms subside unless there are dense adhesion which cause pain so adhesiolysis will help or nerve ablation will help in relieving symptoms
