My Mom is 75 yo and was awakened last night with throbbing pain in her R shoulder. She said when went to rub it she noticed a hard, immobile grape size lump that she had not noticed before. The skin is not discolored, no history of injury, no recent illness and no limit in mobility. She took Ibuprofen this morning and the pain has not returned. Medical history includes hypothyroidism tx with synthroid. She is normal weight, sedentary and smokes 1/2 pack cigs/day
