What Causes Throbbing Sensation In Temple?

Hello. I'm a 27 year old female and have a very strange pulsing/throbbing sensation in my right temple. It's in one very specific area and isn't spreading but has been doing this for a few hours now. It is a very strong feeling. It isn't at all painful. I did have a general anaesthetic about 10 days ago but assume it's unrelated. Do I need to go to a doctor this evening? Thank you for your help!

Brief answer:
Rule out Migraine and Temporal arteritis.

Detailed answer:
Hello there..Thanks for asking to Healthcare Magic.
One sided throbbing sensation near temple area even without pain might be associated with migraine or temporal arteritis. Both the conditions are relatively more common in females than males. Please visit a doctor as early as possible to rule out mainly temporal arteritis in which there is high risk for stroke,blindness..Seek immediate medical attention if you get blurred vision or on increasing severity and duration of the sensation.Hope this information helps.Regards
