What Causes Thyroid Problems After Spinal Surgery?
I have had two surgeries on my cervical spine (neck) one with a fusion. They did one going in from the front and 9 be from the back. Now I have thyroid problems. These do not run in my family. After a lot of thought I have come to the conclusion that I had damage to my thyroid during one or both of the surgeries. How do I go about proving this?
Hi Thanks for posting in HCM Your blood vessels or nerves to thyroid gland can be damaged during any neck surgery.Anyhow, tests are needed to confirm. Take Care
