What Causes Tickling At The Back Of The Throat?
I cough at night time when I ma sleeping. I feel a tickle at the back of my throat when I cough it gets better. Just to inform I smoke a little bit 3 cigarettes the most and drink. Recently the doctors have put me on zyrtec 5mg everyday but the cough is still present.

You have smoking induced dry cough.
It is advisable to stop smoking to prevent ill effects on respiratory tract.
For dry cough if needed dextromethorphan and phenylephrine containing syrup can be prescribed.
Or dextromethorphan 20 mg BD tablet can be prescribed.
If no improvement than we have to investigate further with chest x ray PA view (digital)
