What Causes Tight And Bruised Frenulum With Foreskin Itching?

Hello, I am a male. My frenulum is tight and bruised. I don t masturbate excessively; however, when I do masturbate, the frenulum hurts tremendously. I went to the doctor and was prescribed some hydrocortisone as I was itching as well on my foreskin. I ve used it but there hasn t been any relief. The itchiness continues around my foreskin. My frenulum has never been this tight. This recently started. I do have diabetes; however, i am not taking meds as I had a bad reaction to metformin. I do have a doctor s appointment Friday, May 8, 2015. Thank you for your help.

Hi,

If you had unprotected sex - need to rule out sexually transmitted infection. I think you would have completed the consultation by now. It can be due to increased blood sugar. Phimosis due to candida infection.
