What Causes Tight Feeling In A Bruised Area On Stomach?
Hi I had a big bruise around a month ago through faling up some slippery steps outside it was on my right bottom of my tummy slightly on the side. The bruise has gone but It keeps feeling tight every now and then near where my bruise was is it anything to worry about ? Or could it even be related to the bruise?
It is good that it ended with a bruise “only”. Now you are concerned that you might suffer from a late after-effect of this incident. As long as it is only a superficial feeling in the region where the bruise was, I would not be worried unless you are on blood thinners due to another condition. Should the discomfort, however, feel like coming from inside your abdomen or should sign of inflammation occur (pain, swelling, chills, fever etc.), you should see your local doctor for a thorough check-up.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
