What Causes Tightness And Swelling In Throat After Started Thyroid Medication?
I started thyroid medication six weeks ago. During the last two weeks i have felt a tightness in my throat, and today, I noticed swelling along the front of my throat, by my windpipe. I also had an iodine ct scan about two months ago, and had a strong reaction to the iodine. .

Please meet your endocrinologist or ent doctor as i think your thyroid gland is enlarging , which is causing the constriction feeling and you may need to change your medications. Please dont delay and meet your doctor soon.
