What Causes Tightness In Chest After Stopped Smoking?
I am going on my 5th day of not smoking. I am overweight and have MVP, last night when I went to bed I woke up in the middle of the night gasping for air and my chest felt really tight, I have not slept well in 3 days from not smoking, now my chest feels tight. Please help!
Its nice, you stopped it. The body is getting adjusted with the new rhythm of life. There may be certain uneasiness for couple of days.Chest getting tightened or gasping etc etc are called some of the withdrawal symptoms. Stick to your decision of not smoking any more, the body will get adjusted to the new tune easily.
Find some time for anything creative and positive. Spend time with your family. Be open up for communication.Take up a tour program for refreshing or an exercise regime to be healthy. You may consult a dietitian for diet maintenance, psychologist for behavioural change if your family and you desires so.
Hearty welcome to the new life !
