General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Thank You for contacting HCM.

As you have chronic dysphagia & GERD so i would suggest you to visit gastroenterologist. He would perform Upper GI Endoscopy to conform if there is any mechanical obstruction or anything else that is causing the symptoms. Tingling sensation in throat can be due to "sore throat". Meanwhile i would suggest you following:

> Take hot water in a cup, add 1 table spoon salt in it. Perform gargles (mouth wash) with it three times a day for at least 3 days. It will give soothing effect.
> Try to take lighter meal at night. Avoid fatty meal
> Try to raise head end of your bed by few inches. It will also decrease symptoms of GERD at night.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow
up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
Wishing you good health.
