my right knee is tight going on a month now. I am 53yrs old. I am very active and have been cycling for 30 yrs , riding about 140- miles a week. I also do little racing. I do not experience very much pain. It does not affect my riding. When bending down, i always favor the left side. What do you think?
The answer to your tightness may be the tight tensor fascia lata which is present in your thigh as a band. It's tightness is often found in people doing more of the hamstring utilizing athletes like you.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
