What Causes Tightness In Shoulder During Pregnancy?
I am pregnant and I a cold and am coughing quite a bit. This morning I woke up with a tightness in my left shoulder that goes down through my left hand. I didn't notice it all day, but now I have it again the next evening. What could cause the tightness?

The most common complain during pregnancy is gastric trouble and irritation. And all gastric conditions mimic cardiac symptoms like chest pain, pain radiating to left shoulder, back, throat pain, etc. I would thus recommend a visit to your doctor's office for an adequate examination and at the same time an EKG (ECG) would be advisable to rule out the worst as well.
