I would suggest you to :-
- Avoid eating spicy and heavy food specially at night .
Doctor may order endoscopy of esophagus , ambulatory acid test and X-ray of digestive system to confirm the diagnosis and to rule out causes like strep throat or laryngitis .
Doctor may prescribe proton pump inhibitos and H2 blockers. Severe cases need surgical correction.
