For the past two months, Iv been fighting extreme tightness in my legs and feet. Left knee is also swollen and cannot keep away from large amounts of ibreprofen. I used to bodybuild so I know what post workout paines feel like. Stretching does not seem to help. I do walk a lot at work and plan on buying a new pair of shoes very soon. Im 38 yrs old thanks..

As per your explanation I believe you have vitamin B deficiency so should start vitamin b which will help for your nerves as well soft tissues too. Apart from this here you have not given any history of other medicals condition. Like knee swelling you are talking about but is it 1st time, is there any injury happen to your knee in past. So not able to understand it properly. I suggest to keep your question again with proper explanation and history. As per current explanation if you want also check the vitamin b level in your body for that you need to do blood test. And you can also use hot pack as well as cold pack frequently if there is a pain and swelling at knee level. But remember if it's not going means you need to check with ortho or physio to get it evaluated properly. I will also suggest to avoid more of standing and walking activity if there is a swelling in knee. Rest all should be fine in few days. Hope you got some idea from here. Take care.
