What Causes Tingling And Weakness In Legs?

I was standing in the kitchen in the midst of Thanksgiving prep, with lots of family around and lots of ongoing stress. Suddenly both of my legs felt strange. Kind of tingly and weak and a bit of discomfort. Very scary. The feeling went away very quickly ... less than a minute. I ve never experienced this before. I am a 70-year-old female in good health but do have a pinched nerve in my neck and some back pain.

Good lady,
I cannot make any diagnosis, but I suggest you go to the doctor to have some tests done (if dr. concurs) for varicose veins, neuropathy or low magnesium. Your back as well needs to be evaluated for any disc problems. This question truly needs to be answered inside of a physicians office where you can be physically examined. If anything of nutritional concern is brought up, come back and ask for me. Good day, Kathryn Shattler, MS,RDN, your online nutritionist
