Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have never done drugs before and I made the stupid mistake of trying meth a day ago. My body has slowed down but I have tingling randomly in my body and my hear is ask going a little fast. Is the tingling normal and is there anything I can do to help it?
Cannot say in your particular case but, hyperventilation typically is associated with tingling and would be in areas all over and not at one nerve. Breathing heavy with meth (or with fear) gets rid of carbon dioxide that regulates the acidity of the blood and makes the nerves slightly off. Breathing in a pillow or paper bag is the classic fix.
