Doctor I have a problem with my face after using a certain hair spray almost two months ago.I feel tingling in my left cheek and forehead.I also feel burning sensation in my face, nose and around the mouth.I also feel itching. Soon after I sprayed the chemical in my hair I started feeling as if I had touched hot pepper, I could not sleep the whole night until the following morning I went to hospital where I was given antiallegic tablets.I finished first , second dosages and now I am on a third dosage but still there is no change. I am 1.7m tall, weigh 80kg and 29years old. What is all this? Please Doctor assist.Thank you.
Hi. I think it is allergy to some component of hair spray. First of all, stop using it. Continue antihistamine for couple of days. You may add a mild steroid like desonide for 4-5 days. It would provide rapid relief. Hope it helps
