Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 67 year old mother is in the ER. Went with 206/92 BP and tingling in shoulders and biceps. Her BP has since been 152/72 and now 178/83. Stoke has been ruled out. EKG is completed but results haven t been shared. She is going in for chest x-ray now. I live 8 hours away from her. Should I get in my car and drive to her location?

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Sonia Dhawan's Response
Hi,
As the heart and brain stands clear, there is not much to worry or something urgent to act upon, however, you should drive to her for her moral and emotional support while the tests are going on.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
