What Causes Tingling In The Left Leg?

After herniated disc in L4 & L2, I have had two epidurals. I m recovering nicely according to my anesthesiologist who administered the two epidurals, as well as my orthopedic surgeon and my physical therapist. I had the 2nd epidural on Friday at 1:00 pm and it is now Sunday at 11:00 pm, two days later. I was told to take it easy over the weekend which I was doing. However, tonight I have some tingling in my left leg, the leg that has had intense pain for one month and for the last month (I injured my back on May 9) has improved dramatically. Do i need to worry that I did too much standing today at a church picnic or that i bent over too much playing a toss the bag game. I ve been on ice and took an epsom salt bath, plus using my muscle stimulator this evening. Is tingling a worry or just part of healing. This is all new to me. Thanks, Jim

Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from herniated disc of L4 andL2. You are recovering nicely according to your anesthesiologist who administered the two epidurals, as well as your orthopedic surgeon. However, tonight you have some tingling in your left leg. In case of disc prolapse off and on pain and deterioration is likely to occur No need to worry.Tingling is due to overexertion so avoid exertion and do rest .You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
