What Causes Tingling Sensation All Over The Body While Suffering From Diabetes?
Hi doctor, I am a 45 year old female. To give you a little background..I was diagnosed with borderline diabetes 2 years ago. I also have cholesterol issues. My doctor has decided to monitor me with diet and exercise. My cholesterol numbers go up and down as do my tryglecerides that are high..325 (I think pretty soon I will need to go on meds). My current issue is the following..for a week now I have been suffering from tingling and itchy crawly sensation all over my body and face. I went to my doctor who stated it was probably neoropathy. I don't know if I agree with that for not long ago I had nerve ending test done due to severe leg pain and it was noted that my nerves were ok. Can you tell me what could cause my symptoms? I read that perimenopause or menopause can also cause this..My discomfort goes on all day...I am at my wits end.. I have done research and looked up possible causes and I think I am just freaking myself out....MS always tends to be a diagnosis...
Thank you for your time.
