What Causes Tingling Sensation On The Right Side Of The Body While Having High BP?
I have tingling and /or numbness on the right side of my body...with elevation of blood pressure...on blood pressure medication...went to doc and they prescribed another medication in addition to my other...the numbness and/tingling is still there...just wondering if this is something other than high blood pressure...I was examined for neurological problems and none were thot to be there
Sometimes high blood pressure can affect the nerves in a condition called hypertensive neuropathy. This feeling always decreases after being normal blood pressure, he also must get a CT brain scan to exclude cerebro vascular stroke.
Hope that clarifies your concern. Thank you for the query.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Ahmed Hassan, Critical Care Specialist
