What Causes Tingling Sensations In The Fingers While On Arimidex?

I have been taking Arimidex for 4 1/2 years. I experience significant soreness and aches in neck and shoulders. Increasingly, daily now, I experience tingling in the fingers of both hands. Are these side effects of Arimidex? Can the tingling of the fingers be indicative of another medical issue?

Yes, Arimidex can cause tingling sensations, it is a common side-effect related to the medicine. Probably it is caused by compression of a nerve in the wrist (Carple tunnel). You must seek advice from your treating physician.

Yes, Arimidex can cause tingling sensations. Ask your treating physician to change the medication. According to my knowledge exemestane (Xtane) can be the alternative medication.
