Hello, I am looking for a second opinion regarding hypothyroidism. I am a 32 year old female. I got blood work done 6 months ago (I went for an annual exam at the University I attended and saw a Physician s Assistant there) and my TSH level was a 4.84 at the time, and the PA said it was high but that she didn t think it needed to be treated. My issue is that I feel terrible in terms of energy levels and I always feel tired, and I m wondering if this has something to do with it. Also, my hair seems to be dry and thinner than it was, and my LDL level is 145-and it has never been this high. So, I m wondering what kind of doctor I should seek out for this. Would an OB-GYN be able to help me, or should I see a specialist of some kind?
