What Causes Tiredness And Neck Stiffness While Having Thyroid Disorder?

I have recently started exercising again. I have low thyroid and working with an endocrinologist to help adjust it. Meanwhile, as I get tired, my throat is sore and my neck feels stiff or tight or swollen- though it doesn t appear to actually be swollen. Should I be concerned?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Low water intake may be the cause of the symptoms described here, else it may not be due to any thyroid related symptoms, and just to rule out the thyroid disease, thyroid function test is must, it is not the matter of concern if the symptoms does not long last or increases.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
