What Causes Tiredness, Vomiting And Negative Pregnancy Tests?
I just took a pregnancy test today and it came up negative. I have been extremely tired and have vomited twice in the past 3 days. I have also been tanning at a tanning salon and am also on a anti-depressant. Should i stop tanning and get off my medication just incase it is too early to tell if i am pregnant or not? Please help me!
First, a pregnancy test is only accurate once your period is late.. If you are getting your period and do not have unprotected sex you are not at risk for pregnancy. If you miss your period, and then do a negative test, it is unlikely you are pregnant. Lots of other health conditions can make you feel tired and nauseous other than pregnancy. Do not stop your antidepressant unless your prescribing doctor tells you to because many antidepressants are safe in pregnancy and stopping suddenly can cause complications depending on what type of medication that you take. If you do find out you are pregnant, see an OB doctor and they will be able to advise you about the medication. In addition, indoor tanning is risky for skin cancer and I would not advise it whether you are pregnant or not. I hope this answers your question and good luck.
