What Causes Tongue Numbness After Eating Sandwich During Pregnancy?
I am 38 weeks pregnant and I just ate an egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. I have eaten these throughout my whole pregnancy and have never had an allergy. The tip of my tongue is numb now (still within seconds of eating it) with no swelling and I am wondering why its numb.
Numbness of the tongue can have various causes to it and unless there is onvious inflammation ot other signs of an allergic reaction, I would prefer you report this to your doctor so an elaborately evaluation may be conducted including a blood coagulation profile and possibly even a CT brain.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
